DEPARTMENTAL FEDERATION OF THE FISHING OF THE RHONE

The Federation of the Rhone for the Fishing and the protection of the Aquatic environment is the Union of 43 Approved Associations of Fishing and Protection of the Aquatic environment (AAPPMA) which account the Rhone.

It has the role of coordinating in the department the important work undertaken by the persons in charge and members of each AAPPMA in the field of the safeguarding of the natural piscicultural habitats, the rehabilitation of the degraded aquatic environments, the sensitizing of the citizens and their representatives with the dependent stakes with the protection of the watery ecosystems.

The Federation, like the AAPPMA, has, in addition, an active role of promotion of the practice of fishing in particular near the young generations.

27.000 adherent fishermen of the AAPPMA of the Rhone can reach 1.210 kilometers of and 550 hectare river of water levels, of first or second piscicultural category and to the courses of fishing réciprocitaires of the 34 federations belonging to the Halieutic Club Interdépartemental.
